Is there a way to have a 'vertical' plugin occupy the whole vertical side of NPP, when there is also a horizontal plugin present and displayed?

It seems that a horizontal one takes precedence and occupies the whole width of the host NPP application, causing the side docked plugins to be 'vertically challenged'.

I am wondering if there is an option to alter this behaviour, or some other means to get the vertical ones to trump the horizontal ones...

Please review and advise.  Thank you!

I have posted a visual here, of what I am trying to accomplish.

As you can see here:  http://img182.imageshack.us/my.php?image=npparmbasicideno5.png , I have the function list n the right side, the explorer on the left, and my IDE plugin down in the bottom center.

This IS the desired layout.  However, please note that the IDE plugin is floating, not docked, and as such, the edit window actually extends down and behind the IDE Plugin's child window (as evidenced by the scroll button disappearing behind the IDE Plugin's window...

Here is a screen shot of what it looks like when it is docked: http://img171.imageshack.us/my.php?image=npparmbasicidedockedzd4.png .  Please note how it extends the full width of the host NPP window.

Ok, I hope that this helps to illustrate what it is I am struggling with.

      Thank you!

There's no way (so far) to make the layout you desire in docking system.

          Thank you, Don.

Might I respectfully make a feature enhancement request, then? ;-)

          Seriously, understood.

Based upon your response, I presume that it is on the list of things to do.

Thanks again, for your time (and a kickin app!!!).
