Shift + backspace does not delete last character, instead writes a strange character. Something like [BS]
This occours since 4.8
In 4.7 this didn't happen.
This is very annoying, I know there is no reason to hold shift while pressing backspace to erase characters, but I think there is no reason to write this strange character too.
Sometimes my right hand goes more fast than my left and when I want to erase a just entered CAPITAL character, instead erasing it that [BS] appears.

Have you tried 4.8.5? It should have shift-backspace added to the shortcuts by default (because thats what it actually is =]).
Clean out your shortcuts.xml if it doesnt get added (ie remove all scintilla keys)
