You have SmartQuotes on in Word, and it's converted the quote marks/apostrophes, dashes and ellipses to extended ASCII sequences (what they actually are if you look at the text outside Word, in a text/binary viewer). I can't remember if Word removes those if you export to plain text - but chances are, you'll have to turn off SmartQuotes/autoformatting, and retype all of those characters before you can copy/paste them to Notepad++.
