Hi all
export to pdf/excel does not work correctly when the table inlcudes arabic or hebrew text.
in pdf i do not see arabic/hebrew text and in excel i see junk text instead.
i am using displaytag 1.1 with struts (tomcat 5.5) and my jsp page have pageEncoding="UTF-8"

  Have a look here: http://itext.ugent.be/library/question.php?id=741 and checkout the peace.pdf.
  
  Hebrew and arabic scripts work fine with iText. It seems like you have to figure out your own where the bug between displaytag and iText is.
