I just downloaded NOTEPAD++ to help me write a few batch files that I want to write to help in some daily maintenance and backup options. I can't seem to get the character set to come up that would allow me to make boxes around some of my options. It does so automatically in Notepad but I would far rather use NOTEPAD++. I know this must be a very basic question, but would someone be so kind to help me out. Very much appreciated.

No need to answer my query, as I've found the answer in EditPad Lite.
Why belong to a forum when its members are more interested in responding to a double post than helping out a beginner who wasn't too sure how this posting stuff worked anyway.

Are you still? I guess that's not so uncommon, after only a day. If you feel the need to post your question again, please at least reply to your previous message. It will be clear than that you perhaps suffer more than others, who wait first if anyone will answer their questions. Next to that, you won't be creating a number of threads for the same problem, possibly resulting in getting different or even the same answers in several threads.
