I would like to use notepad++ as an outliner for my research project. Having looked through the past posts, it has been suggested to use python language option as it allows for a tree structure. Unfortunately, I need something a bit more structured. What I would like is:
1. The ability to have multiple notes (viewable in tabs) in one file.
2. The ability to organize my notes in a hierarchical structure (something similar to light explorer in notepad++)
Here is a link to keynote (http://www.tranglos.com/free/keynote_screenshot.html) which I have used in the past but is no longer developed which might provide a better example of what I am would like.
Thanks
