    I hope you there will be support for Right-To-Left languages like Arabic in Notepad++. It doesn't even inhrit that from the host Windows operating system.

      It does support RTL script. You can change the direction from LTR to RTL by pressing Ctrl+Alt+R, then you can edit RTL text correctly. Of course, you can choose Unicode as your encoding. I've noticed that if I type RTL characters (and probably other non-ASCII characters as well) in UTF-8 without BOM, I get gibberish; it's necessary to choose UTF-8 first, start typing, then switch to UTF-8 without BOM. This seems to be a bug.

      If you need the dialogs to be RTL, install a translation of a RTL language, like Arabic, it should have a flag telling Notepad++ to run in RTL
