The Issue: Being able to create multiple lines on a sales order or invoice is difficult with the standard screen layouts where tabs are associated with table relationships such as MOrder->MOrderLine. However, users want to be able to quickly enter new products when making a sale without keeping customers longer than necessary at the till.
This solution: Allow the user to search the product window (InfoProduct) - filtering by vendor if necessary as often products are associated by vendor - and allow the user to select multiple products from the InfoProduct window. When the window is accepted (green tick), one order/invoice line is created for each product selected with a quantity of one. If multiple items are required then the user must navigate to the order/invoice line as usual and update the qty.
