I found the normal Notepad++ icon a litlle dull, so I made an extension that put the files extension (first 3 letters anyway) in the bottom right if the icon is large enough, you can download it here: http://harrysnppstuff.webs.com/

Hey man - THANKS! I had a seriously annoying prob which made all file associations for npp show up with that ugly windows default icon and it was driving me nuts - your solution fixed it - much thx, great work!
