First let me say I love this editor. And the price is great! (Ver 4.7.5 running in Win XP pro.) I'm not sure how or to who to report bugs.
I needed to insert a character at the beginning of each row of an ascii text file. I began recording a macro and pressed these keys three or four times:
2 <down arrow><left arrow>
That caused the each line to begin with a '2'. Then when I replayed/ran the macro, the '2' was inserted in different positions in the lines.
I got around the problem by recording: 2<down arrow><Home key> a few times. That played back correctly.
So, what's the process for reporting bugs? Did I do anything wrong?
Thanks
Tom

You did nothing wrong.
There are other ways, though, to insert a character at the beginning of each line.
Search the forum for inserting or deleting characters or line, possibly in combination with regex or regular expression.
For reporting bugs, see the Tracker item in the menu bar on top of the page.
