When I select the last part of lines in colum block select mode, with version 4.8.2 also the linebreaks (CR+LF) are removed. This is not what I expect, this is not what I want.
In previous versions this was still OK.
Could this be corrected, please?

When a column selection copied in block select mode is pasted at the end of a line, the layout gets messed up. The first line is pasted OK, the second line is pasted _after_ the linebreak (CR+LF), which also results in an unwanted indentation. Also, the third line is appended to that indented pasted text because of missing the linebreak behind it (it is before the pasted text).
One more annoying thing: I am familiar with spaces being added to the line _following_ the pasted block, if that line was shorter than the now extended lines preceding it. However, with the block pasted as above, it now is the _second_ line after the pasted block, instead of the line directly following it, that gets the spaces. I guess this is also due to the incorrect linebreak handling and pasting after each CR and LF character pair.
What has changed in column selection and paste mode?
Will this be corrected?
Could it be improved, so also no more spaces will be added to a line that has nothing to do with the pasted block?
