Notepad++ is absolutely the best Windows editor so far and it's getting
better and better with each update.
However, I found it really a pain having to manually editing the
high-light styles and the preference from scratch after each
uninstall and reinstall.
Is there a way to export all these settings?
I've tried to preserve the XMLs in the application folder, but
that didn't help.
BTW: The reason why I always uninstall it before updating is that
I'm a Chinese user and the search functionality for Chinese characters
sometimes stops working if I simply overwrite the existing version
with the most up-to-date one.
Any opinion or tips?
