In Notepad++ v4.7.1 the saving session bug in subview is fixed.
As well, the installer doesn't delete your plugin anymore - even they are not stable.
One more note : Due to a bug fixed, the structure of session file is changed. Your old sessions files won't work in this version. So backup your session files before the installation.
Please post your bug report here if you encounter any serious problem.
On Vista, when I run notepad++ as restricted admin, always the UAC pop up asking me to run gup.exe, clicking cancel will show error and notepad++ opens. Clicking OK doesn't solve the problem either.
Is there workaround for this?

To disable the auto-updater, do the following:
1. Launch Notepad++
2. Go to Settings > Preferences
3. Click the MISC tab
4. Uncheck the bottom checkbox labeled “Enable Notepad++ auto-updater”

For some reason, not known to me, from version 4.7 it takes Notepad++ longer to start and close with the 30 files I have open these days. I renamed the plugin folder, which seemed to have a little effect, but the difference before and from version 4.7 is still noticeable.

With this version, 4.7.1, menu are not translated. Just the windows menu is in italian, and the configuration dialog is. All other strings are in english... No problem with version 4.7!

Trying to change my notepad++ 4.7.5 settings the program crashes (vista home)

I have the same problem with v4.7.5. The program crashes when accessing Settings->Preferences even if the program is run as administrator.
