I'd like to know if anyone has already use the Merge Entities utility in ComPiere.
I got a problem which is a duplicate customer and this function seems to solve my issue.
But there is an alert message which say to use it carefully...
So i'd like to know if it is not too risky.
Thanks,
Yan

Alert message is only to remind you that other of the records is to be overwritten, but you surely know that already... Go on, it's worth to try! I tried merge with some products I couldn't delete anymore (Warnings about existing child entries), but in that case it didn't work...
One word of warning, though, about copy record option in the Compiere 261 menu: it doesn't work properly. This is mentioned also in later bug fixes - function copies also the record id, and you end up with kind of duplicate entry of the same data. Always create new records from the bottom manually.

Some things to be aware of
If you merge BP you may need to run Validate BP to get the correct open amounts, Life time value, etc.
If you merge PRoducts, first move any inventory out of the product you will be deleting as that is not done in the merge process.
Costing records are not merged
