There seems to be a problem with the item "New File...".  That doesn't work on version 1.7.2 (WinXP), neither in the directory section nor in the file section of Explorer.

Creating directories, on the other hand, are no problems.

        Is this a known issue?

I did an update: Here the change log:

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      08/02/09  v1.7.1 :
      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fix: Cut & Copy of Faves items caused a crash of explorer
Change: Double click on a session in Faves closes now the current session first
Change: Context menu item behaviour of sessions
               - "Open" does now the same as double click on the item do
               - "Reopen" is changed to "Add to Current Session" and does the same thing
as the old behaviour of "Open"

      Best Regards
      Jens

Sorry, but I tested it on W2K and there is no issue for me. Everything works fine.
Please test Explorer plugin alone in Notepad++. Maybe the issues is caused by another plugin.

        Best Regards
        Jens

The underline works also for me. Did you tried from any device? What is the current Notepad++ version do you use?

          Best Regards

          Hi Jens

Just tested it with only explorer.dll. Still get problems.

I'm not really bothered by lack of tooltips in Explorer. Just very odd that in Favorites I do get tooltips. And nobody else has mentioned it so, I don't know :-)

But the main problem is that the closed file still remains underlined in both Favorites and Explorer.

          all the best

Underline works fine Jens normally, just that if you open N++, then double-clcik on a file in Explorer or Favourites and then close it, the filename remains underlined. It only happens when all files are closed and none remain, the last one closed is still underlined.

It's not a real problem, just a cosmetic one I guess.

N++ is 4.8 and happens with any file on any drive.

      all the best

      Hi,
i can't reproduce the underlining bug discussed above, the underlining goes away even if no files are left open.

Anyway i've noticed another little thing. Right click on a file in explorer, select copy.
Then paste a copy of the file in the same folder (go to folders tree view, rightclick and select paste). At this time the file list isn't refreshed and the file just created (copy of original file) is not shown.

Thank you for your plugins, Jens.

      Francesco

Just tried 1.7.2 recently, and found that the Drag and Drop feature is too annoying. I always make a lot of "Copy of...." files accidentally and discover it when I found some files.
      Can this be an option?
