I have text files that are tab delimited, and they are open in N++. I want N++ to recognize the tabs and the width of the text in each "column" (field), and to space the tab stops so that all the data is displayed. Then, if those positions can be overridden by letting me drag the tab stops around on a rules, I would be golden.

  I posted it on this forum because the feature does not appear to be available in the base product. And short of looking into the N++ API, it seems like something that might be available (or could be made available) in the form of a plug-in.
