This happens sporadically. When I open a text file, I get a blank page in N++. I close the file, reopen, then the file contents would appear. Sometimes I have to repeat the close/reopen several times.
Does any one know if this is a bug or a features? Is there a work-around for this?

I've also started getting this bug since upgrading to N++ 4.7.5 on WinXP SP2.
I assumed it had come in with the latest update as I've never experienced this before, but the lead message in this thread shows it's been around quite a while. Puzzling why I've only just started getting it as it now happens very frequently.

I'm subscribing to this bug too as it is quite annoying. First I thought the file was empty so I erased it ... and again and again. It pushes me to use another textpad to be sure there's something inside the file.
My config is :
Winxp sp2
N++ 4.7.5
Can't figure out what is the cause (browser, explorer, other apps running, many files open ...) so I can't tell you how to reproduce it
