Does anyone knows that BOM Product price is depend of the price of the products which built it. For example Product A consist of 1 product B and 1 product C.  Product B and C are being priced at USD 5 and USD 6 respectively. The price of Product A would be USD 11. You cannot change it.

Meanwhile we often find a case where the price of Product A IS NOT the price of product B or C combined. It can be higher or lower. I try to add price to product A, which not the combined price but it doesn't work. This is what happen.

I put price of USD 15 for product A. When I created Sales Order, and I chose product A the price was still USD 15. Everything felt right. And then the disaster came. When I click Complete button suddenly the price change to USD 11!

Any help for this one? Btw, I'am using Compiere 3.0.1

if the BOM is not stocked it is considered a 'basket; and will compute the price based on the component prices.  If you want to assign a price change it to 'stocked'

Dear OpenSourceMan and Adhitya , Kathy Pink:
      >> if the BOM is not stocked it is considered a 'basket;
      >> and will compute the price based on the component prices.
      >> If you want to assign a price change it to 'stocked'

This is a way but not really status for company., because the product is not 'stocked' !!

      >> For example Product A consist of 1 product B and 1 product C.
      >> Product B and C are being priced at USD 5 and USD 6 respectively.
      >> The price of Product A would be USD 11.
      >> You cannot change it.

      If  Non-'stocked' A = 'stocked' B + 'stocked' C + 'stocked' the service D must add-on
      Theb 15 = 6 + 5 + 4(service charge)

ERP is not for get result balance only,

      ERP is management not calculate,

Take over Compiere you need Albert

Sounds like the price hadn't still been updated after the last change. At least in Compiere 2.61 I'm using, it's a good habit to do Cache Reset every now and then, because it can save you from a lot of trouble.

For the actual BOM price, Compiere offers more than one choice; it can bee a sum of the products it's comprised of, or you can set it to be something else. Please refer to the relevant section in the manual.
