I would like to buy one or two books regarding Python development.
More specifically I would like it if these books provided examples using the Eclipse IDE (preferably on Linux).
If anyone has suggestions I would be much appreciated.

I'm not really sure there are books with examples using Eclipse... but I do like the way that ShowMeDo shows things: http://showmedo.com/videos/series?name=PyDevEclipseList
As for python books, I see many people recommend Dive Into Python (which can also be gotten in the internet at: http://www.diveintopython.org/\)
