Here's something that would be useful but simple to implement:
* When you have lots of files open, there's the left/right arrows to move forward/backward from one window the next. An idea would be that if you hold down shift (or Ctrl) and click an arrow it goes to the first/last window rather than previous/next.
* Rows of tabs as well as columns (couldn't spot this feature)
