I found the problem... in a previous failed install... the notepad++ folder was in the program files folder. when i deleted that, it installed well... but yes, the ziip file also worked.

When I try to install notepad++ 4.6... it just hangs at the following point

every time. ccleaner ran to remove junk, and started again... stops at same place... anyone else have this?

-Installer corrupt? load again!
-delete also %appdata%\Notepad++ and %programfiles%\Notepad++
-and the regestry again.
nothing helps, try the Notepad++v4.6.zip
