I shall be very thankfull for the help in the following case:
I have bought the new MSI MS1221 laptop and installed the Fedora 8 on it (as it has the latest chips which are supported only in FC8).
I have my AC adapter always pluuged in, but the installed kpowersave application toggles between "AC adapter unplugged" and "AC adapter plugged in" each 15-20 seconds.
