Does anyone know that can the current working file be renamed instantly and immediately thru NPP itself?
I think this is very convenient to us, because by only want to rename a currently working file, nobody would like to firstly close it at NPP and then open Windows Explorer to rename the file and then reopen back to NPP.

I would prefer to change the behaviour of the Save As... 'feature'. After completing the saving operation, the newly saved file should be opened in editor. Then, you could rename the file, while having the original as backup (if not needed, just delete it)

But I prefer to have one-click function at NPP as I am a lazy man :=-)
you may simplify your task using explorer plugin
