SciTE has LUA scripting support. I don't care for LUA, but it's better than nothing. Since LUA has already been added to SciTE, how hard would it be to add it to N++? Are people requesting this?

I would be interested, at some point, to add a nice little scripting system to N++ that is (relatively) easy to use and understand. (LUA is a major pain to understand and use) Maybe the macro system could be expanded/enhanced.

It's been awhile since I've programmed in C, but I used to be a "master/professional C programmer", and I've never really gotten into C++ or C#, but I have done a lot of OOP programming in other languages, so I might be able to help out on some stuff to get the project advancing faster. I'm somewhat of a master debugger and professional problem solver, so that might be something I can do. (I hate bugs)

If you have a "small sub-project" I can work on, let me know and we'll see how it goes. Eventually I'll get proficient enough to do larger and more complex sub-projects.

I don't have VC, and probably won't get it, so do I need MinGW and GCC?

And you are a master/professional programmer, asking those questions??
