I have Notepad++ 4.5 on Windows XP SP2 installed on 3 computers and after some minutes using notepad++, the program gets slow of response, and growing his memory and CPU usage (about 500MB and +90% cpu).
The only solution is to kill the process.
I found this bad behavior since some versions ago (I don't remember exactly, but I can affirm that this occurs on since 4.0 ).

I think there is something related with split screen.
I'm working all day without splitting and no slowdowns happened.
What files do you have open?
What do you do with Notepad++??
I use notepad++ to code php files, around 10kb of size and I have around 6 files opened at same time.
