I am trying to "find and replace" CRLF.  I am using ^p in the Find and Replace dialog box but I an not getting the results that I am looking for.  Any suggestions?

      Yes: read the forum.

Made/makes no sense to me either.  I'm going back to previous version which clearly had the Word style support TAB and CRLF.

See http://notepad-plus.wiki.sourceforge.net/FindReplaceNewlineHowTo for more detail.  Not sure what you mean by previous version, I haven't tried the latest but haven't heard that any of this had changed.

My bad. The Word style search-n-replace for carriage-returns and tabs... that's in NoteTabPlus, not your program.   The HowTo link you provided is helpful, but the way NoteTabPlus does it is much more straight-forward, IMHO.  However, I will continue to use both programs for their strengths.  Keep up the good work.

      The answer is
Ctrl + R to bring up the advanced find and replace function

Ctrl + M will insert a character that you can not see but will create a CRLF or Find a CRLF depending on what you what to do.

Turn of Regular expression and selection

I also found it useful to tick "one per line".
