Wow - I stumbled across NPPTextFXdemo.TXT, in \Notepad++\plugins\NPPTextFX, and found a lot of cool stuff!

I turned on auto-bracket and HTML tag auto-closing, and suddenly I have a much nicer N++ to work with! The biggest problem I see with TextFX is too many functions, and not enough documentation. Its daunting to dig through over 100 functions to see what might interest you -- and experimenting with every one is simply out of the question!

In fact, I think the main thing holding back the whole N++ project is the lack of a comprehensive .chm file for reference. Has some thought been given to a documentation project? I would like to contribute, but am reluctant to commit to getting the whole thing out.

    Anyway, keep up great work.

    -Ken

      Hi Ken.

If you check the other forums, you'll see that a Wiki movement has started on the main Notepad++ page. There have also been discussions about starting similar for plugins.
I guess it's a hassle to keep the core Notepad++ documents up to date, but keeping up to date all plugins is impossible for one or even a few persons.
You have mentioned a .chm solution. Do you have experience in this field?
I think that the only way to have a relatively up to date documentation in to have it in a form that the community can contribute. Any suggestions on how to make this work?

      Best,
      -Zobo
