In N++, try Settings -> Preferences -> File Associations
If that doesn't work, I can tell you how to do it in Windows XP:
* In Windows Explorer, goto Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types
* Click on the extension you wish to associate, then click Change.
* Pick Notepad++ from the list, or browse to find your install of notepad++.exe
* Do this for every extension you want associated with N++.
