I have Vista Business and N++ 4.0.2
when I try to type smth in Ukrainian locale I have only ?????? ????? ????.
the most weird thing is that Russian works fine...
any idea? maybe it's needed some update in N++ to accept all unicode locales?
(to keep in mind - Miranda Unicode accepts all the unicode locales...)

Also, IMHO, you better install Windows XP instead of Windows hasta la Vista.

Have similar issues with Windows XP and Latvian symbols... found workaround -> after starting N++ you should go to Format menu and select "Encode in UTF-8". It doesn't matter, that this is checked, you need to select it once more :)
Probably there is bug with input handling and defaults loading on startup.

Hmm... Try to change basic font in Notepad++. Maybe current font does not support ukrainian letters... (but supports russian? Argh, mustdying system!)
And I wonder what strange company/organization needs Vista?

I have one idea - it can because of ANSI (non-unicode) input area... as I told before, miranda unicode works well...
maybe it's possible to build unicode release of the N++ (like miranda does)?
we are development company :) and need Vista for testing purposes.
