    Hi all,

you can "empty" the tabbar by simply open a large amount of files, scroll to the very right of the bar an close all visible tabs one by one.
Can anyone else reproduce this behaviour?

I think an autoscrollback function would solve this issue

      hi again,

to make it more clear look at the screenshot

      http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/2277/nppzx7.jpg

as you can see, new 31 is selected (window name: Notepad++ - new31) but not shown.
even i this won't get changed, could someone comment this please?

      regards
      marco

There is a "workaround" for this until it get hopefully fixed.
When happens, just go to File->New... it creates a new file tab and old tabs are recoverd too.
OR simply, double-click on the last empty place on the tab area. It opens a new file and all tabs are recovered.

This is quite a common issue. I have the same in Delphi if I close a number of tabs. Scrolling manually when there is at least one tab visible prevents the tab bar from ending up empty.
