after i check my XML i tired to copy some text with CTRL+C and all that i got when i pasted the text was:

XML Tools plugin
---------------------------
line 1: encoding specified in XML declaration is incorrect

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Copy with context menu or toolbar still works.

  Please post some more information, or nobody will understand what you're talking about (and nobody will reply).
  
  I'll ask the obvious question: what encoding *does* the XML declaration in that file specify?

  this auto check "feature" really starts to annoy me
  
  i loved it, but no it complains about nearly every file saying:
  line 1: encoding specified in XML declaration is incorrect
