Unfortunately, the wrap option in the CTRL+R Replace Dialog is checked by default. Like the wrap option in the CTRL+F Dialog I find this annoying. If I _would_ want searches to be wrapped, I would be triggered if searching again wouldn't get me any further. If I do _not_ want a wrapped search, I only get to wonder about this after having searched my document a couple of times... Why doesn't it stop? So I would be pleased if the wrap option is unchecked by default.
I tried to replace a string of characters by another string.
After pushing the Find button I pushed the Replace Rest button, and nothing much happened, except for NP++ to appear busy. After terminating and restarting my search and replace action manually by pushing Replace & Find Again I noticed my search string wasn't replaced. This is because my file is read-only. I would suggest to not allow the replace buttons then. First, I wasn't aware of this, so NP++ was searching and not replacing the strings over and over again because of the checked wrap option.
So please uncheck all the wrapped search options by default.
Please also disable functionality if it can't be used anyway.
