I use np++ like external viewer(F3) and editor(F4) for TotalCommander. I miss readonly parameter. Viewer(F3) should open file for reading only.

  Seems that there is this option now.
  
  Use -ro parameter to open files in read only mode.

    I think that parameter might be only in the very latest version. It isn't mentioned at http://notepad-plus.wiki.sourceforge.net/Command+Line+Switches .

  I think so too! NP++ need Viewer(or Read Only) mode! It's very-very important feature.

  yes please. this is a "must have" for an editor program.
  other programs like "ultra edit" or "ps pad" are using the command line parameter "-R"
