Hi everyone,
I am not a very active bug reporter (or finder muchless) but I found some quirky behavior in the Light Explorer behavior. I was browsing a favorite which resides on a network share of a Gentoo machine in another part of my office (via Samba). Windows explorer was able to, as well as the open dialog in NP++, view the files and allow me to open them for editting. However, the Light Explorer plugin was only showing select files. I belligerently just reinforced my permissions scheme on the root folder (using chgrp and chmod) because sometimes I do work from other users on the box (because I'm lazy to change usernames). This did fix the problem.
I know this thread is somewhat a waste but I wanted to try to help someone else that may be stuck on the problem.

The Light Explorer is useless for me because it locks up everytime I try to access a network drive!
I had the same problem with network drives too... And even for same netwokk drive it can open one subdir and can't show files in another one...
