I was looking for ages on windows vista for the default location to shortcuts.xml, I couldnt find anything on the forums, so I decided to post this to hopefully help other people out if they come accross teh same problem.
C:\Users\<<Z>YOUR USER NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\
