Notepad++ v4.3 fixed bugs and added features (from v4.2.2) :
1. Fix the crash bug due to the corrupted configuration file (config.xml and session.xml).
2. Fix the crash bug while the shortcut command is absent in shortcut.xml.
3. Fix the file status auto-detection bug : a unwanted selection after a pop-up dialog.
4. Enhance Styler Configurator : the visual effect is updated immediately while the setting is changing.
5. Add Global override feature (in Styler Configurator).
6. Fix the bold/italic/underline refresh problem in Stylers Configurator for Scintilla component.
7. Add hide lines feature (Menu : View->Hide lines).
8. Add new capacity (optional setting in Preferences dialog : Backup/Auto-completion tab) to trigger Auto-Completion(Function Completion or Word completion) automatically .
9. The set languages in session are remembered now.
10. Fix the Move down current line bug.
11. Add the start up with no plugins feature (command line : notepad++ -noPlugins).
12. Fix the display file type bug on the status bar while switching between the files.

I have a request to change the Hide Lines behavior. It's easiest to explain with a concrete example.
Let's say you want to hide lines 5-7. If you highlight lines 5-7, the cursor is left at the beginning of line 8 and lines 5-8 are hidden.
My request is that only lines that are highlighted be hidden so that you don't include the next line that the cursor is on if it is at the beginning of the line.

One minor peeve - next time you make a change to the QuickText.ini file released with Notepad++, could you please keep blocks of QuickText in the same place? I have this file under SVN, but it was pointless using diff to merge in my old customisations for HTML because the HTML block had moved in the file - diff saw one big delete and one big add :(

Can you start incorporating the 64-bit shell-integration DLL that's offered here on the forum? I don't expect you to make the whole program 64-bit or anything, but out-of-box shell integration would be nice on my x64 system.

Is the executable installer broken for the main download anybody else? For every part of the installation, I get the error saying something is wrong with the particular file and you can abort, retry or ignore.
It worked when I chose a different mirror though.

GREAT JOB! I finally see the issue of moving line up been fixed.
Besides, Don, do you have any plan to make multi-line tab in the future? I would really appreciate it if it's in your plan. "<" and ">", or even tab list requires extra clicks. It would be nice if you can just click whichever tab you need without any "ctrl+..." or "click-click-click" actions. It's extremely useful when people are working on a dozen of files.

That's normal behaviour.
The global override style is applied for all displayed text, but not override the settings in styler configurator.
If your text in edit view is not applied by the the font you set in global style, then it's a bug.

Don, I did try to change the font thru the STRING style for C/C++, but to no avail. Could you please fix this problem in the next release?
