I am using the ftp plugin and am looking for a way to save a new file on the server. I cannot find a "save on server" option. No probem if the file is already on the server and I open it: when I save it, it will be saved on the server. But if it's a new file and is not yet on the server?

You cannot create empty files on the server if its not open in notepad if thats what you mean, but any file opened in notepad or on your harddrive can be uploaded. Rightclick on a folder and choose upload current file here (to upload a file opened in notepad++) or Upload other file here... if you want to choose it from your harddisk.
There is also a button in the toolbar with a green upward pointing arrow, but only if you click on a folder. This will uplaod to the folder you clicked on, or to the folder where the file originally came from if its in the cache.
