I'm assuming it's slow because it has to reload/refresh the file as you change to its tab, but I disabled automatic reload and it's still super slow going between files, so much so that the app appears hung for a few seconds before I actually see the file contents and am able to do anything. This is on Vista.

  Do you have Explorer.dll installed in your plugins directory?
