Using custom Syntax files

    I've downloaded the language definition file vor HLSL.
    But what have i got to do so that Notepad++ uses this syntax file?

      Start here: http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/generalFAQ.php -- currently there's info about this topic at the bottom of the page that is opened.

      If you already have a userDefineLang.xml file, you might have to edit it and paste in your custom language support.  --Joel
