This looks like a bug: When I open a local drive, Notepad++ correctly shows all files in the explorer pane, enabling to open any of them just by double-clicking the file. But when I map a network drive into Windows explorer and attempt to edit the files on that drive, Notepad++ shows only the directories on that drive, not the files in it! Very irritating.
Otherwise, a very nice editor. Thanks for the great work!

I can confirm and expand on this.
I'm running WinXP sp2 (fully patched). I have a mounted samba drive that contains perl and php scripts. It will list the files in the directory that contains perl scripts, but non of the files from directories that contain only php files.

Just a follow-up to my own question. I seem to have this problem on my Windows 2000 system, but not on Windows XP. But I can't say for sure exactly what triggers this problem.

I am having this issue as well. I'm using Windows XP SP2 and Notepad++ v4.2.2. Light Explorer does not show files underneath directories for network drives.

Thomas

I'm not having that problem with Explorer 1.5 nor Light Explorer under Win2K.
