I want to replace a delimeter with new lines through out a file. I have read posts and help on this. I am using v3.9. When I press Ctrl-R, it displays a hex character. I don't know how to tell, which mode I am in...The only way I have been able to accomplish this so far is by searching F3 and then pressing Ctrl-M, then pressing F3 and then pressing Ctrl-M again. Wondering if there a Replace All way of doing this...

Control+R should be able to do it for you. I don't understand about the hex character. Did you have any text selected before pressing control+R? If so, the selected text gets pasted into the search box, and the find/replace only applies to the selected text. You can untick the Selection option to make it apply to everything, then the "Replace & Find Again" should become available.
