Feature Suggestion: Multipoint Text Input

I was just watching a demo of E - TextEdit and saw some awesome features that I wondered if they could be included in Notepad++.
One is particularly interesting is the ability to insert text at multiple points in a document at the same time. Its probably best to go watch the demo ( http://www.e-texteditor.com/ ) but basically I think they hold down the CTRL key, select the multiple points and then you can just start typing and this also applies for multiple replaces as well. I.e. you can select multiple points to overwrite.
There are some other quite nice features but this one would be awesome.
Wow that's indeed a very nice feature. Would like to see it in notepad++.
But anyway, great editor!
Oh Notepad++ rocks! I'm not switching that is for sure. Just saw the feature and thought how cool it was.
