It seems nothing happens when I press CTRL+W in Hex Mode. Only when I press these keys a second time, will the current window close.
It seems, however, that the first time CTRL+W acts as "Save me" (CTRL+S). At least I lost my saved contents myrically. Is this correct? Is this intended behavior?

Anyway, it seems the first time I press CTRL+W or CTRL+S, nothing happens.
Perhaps this goes for any (CTRL) key combination.
When I pressed CTRL+W another time, I got asked if I wanted to save changes. I canceled.
The file was then scrolled to show the previously last position on the the right bottom of the screen. If this is intended behavior, I think it should have been the new/current last position, which was not updated after I added some clipboard content.
Also still, the screen is not fully scrolled along with cursor moving to select more than the visible part of the file.

That's another discussion. Use the key mapper if you want to change that for yourself.
It seems the current NP++ file in Hex Mode doesn't get the first key pressed after closing another file.
I may have overwritten the file outside NP++.
