you can define you own languages, etc
If you look in C:\Program Files\NotepadPlusPlus or whereever it is you have notepad++ installed you will see a number of XML files. I belive the ones you want are stylers and langs.
from what i can see langs.xml can be edited to add new languages
and stylers can be edited to colour the tags, etc
If you don't have xml knowledge, i'm sure you won't find it hard to pick up how to add languages, etc, just be looking at the way it is layed out.

Also, you might wish to make an API file for all the tags because then you can use the auto complete function aswell
