cannot click task bar to bring back focus

    Windows XP Home SP2, Chinese (Traditional chars).
    Version 4.1.1, Chinese (Traditional chars).

    1. Open the "Search -> Find" window.

    2. Click the Windows task bar on the bottom of the
    screen, so that the focus is on another application.

    3. Click "Notepad++" on the
    the Windows task bar on the bottom of the
    screen. It cannot bring Notepad++ back to focus.

    4. Using Alt+Tab can bring Notepad++ back to focus.

      This is still not solved in version 4.1.2.
      My installation is all default.

      MAKE SURE when you open the "Search -> Find",
      you focus is on the "Find" dialog, instead of the parent "Notepad++" window.

        Yes, I do that. 

        I'm trying to make sure I understand the behavior you're reporting. 

        With slightly older versions of some plugins, neither the NP++ edit window nor the Find dialog would get the focus as you switched back to NP++.  In fact, you didn't even have to have the Find dialog open, just the NP++ edit window open alone with the cursor in the editor, and it still would not get the focus -- that is, you couldn't just resume typing where you left off, instead, you had to click again in the editor to finally restore the focus fully.  I think the NP++ menu would first get the focus, so the second click was to move the focus from the menu to the editor.

        But this is *not* what you're reporting, right?  Instead, you're reporting that you leave the focus in the Find dialog and when you come back, the Find dialog no longer has the focus but the NP++ editor now has it instead.  Is that correct?

      Doing those steps with 4.1.2, the NP++ edit window gets the focus.  Is that what you get?

      If not, upgrade to 4.1.2, and if you're using the Explorer and/or Function List plugins, upgrade to the current versions of those as well.
