I am new to Notepad and would like to sort a file. I have found a sort tool under TextFX-Tools. Unfortunately it appears that this tool only works by sorting from the beginning of the record, for the entire length of the record and only when I have manually selected (Ctrl-A) every record in the file. Isn't there a way to sort similar to the sort implemented in TextPad?
I tried to look for doc on this but apparently there is none for Notepad - not with the install and not in the documents section of this web site.
Thanks.
Jim
