    Version tested: 4.1.2
    Platform: XP SP2
File: PHP, 881K, over shared network drive

When using rather large PHP-code files (in this case, 881K, containing 327 functions) N++ gets too slow to work with. When typing an IF statement, it takes N++ about 6 seconds to grey out the underlying text after typing the first ", and another 6 seconds to colorize it after typing the closing ". This is only an example, about everything is *very* slow when working with large code files.

What's going wrong? Edit+ works with the same file without any problems but I'd like to use N++...

    Regards,
    Hidde

Do you use Function List? Is it open? Which version do you use? Is it faster if you close it?

      Best Regards
