Right now, I have to either (a) use FTP and Notepad++ (or b) use SSH and nano to see how the changes I've made look.
So, I think, sometime in the future, a client/server system should be developed to allow you to run N++ Server on a Linux (or Windows ;)) box, and connect to it from Notepad++ and edit files.

In 2 words, such client/server system is supposed to edit files in remote mode?
I prefer to have a module ftp/sftp module to do such purpose.
