XML does not require line breaks. You might be able to use HTMLTidy to re-flow the XML document. You can find HTMLTidy on the TextFX menu: TextFX > TextFX HTML Tidy > Tidy (most recent HTMLTIDY.CFG).
Make a backup of your XML file first. HTMLTidy will only change the document in the editor, but you might want to save the reformatted version. --Joel
