Bug: restoring cursor X position after Find

I lose the cursor X position when I do the following:

Search for a word using Find.
    Cancel/close the Find Dialog.
The cursor is now at the end of the selected found word.

When pressing cursor left or right, it works fine. The cursor will go to the start of the found word or stay at the end of it.

But when I press cursor key up or down after the search, the cursor will move the previous or next line, but I will lose the cursor X position. The cursor will return to the X position it was on before performing the search operation (it also happens when you search again by using F3).

    Could this be fixed?

More general the problem is the following: the cursor X position is "lost" after switching tabs. The cursor will be on the right line (Y position) in the current tab after going there, but any move up or down by the arrow key will change the cursor's X position into the position it was just before, i.e. the cursor X position on the left (last visited) file tab. This _may_ be the X position the cursor was on before doing a search in the first tab, so not the last _visible_ X position on that tab.
